Parking

Parking is always a challenge for Festival planners and our visiting guests.

To make your stay a little more enjoyable, please plan on arriving early, especially on Saturday, August 3. Use common sense and please obey ALL TRAFFIC and POSTED signs. We want your visit to be a positive one!

Harbor Transit, in cooperation with the City of Grand Haven Department of Public Safety, will be providing a “Park & Ride” shuttle from Harbor Island on the north side of the city to the area of 3rd & Columbus, which is within 3 blocks of most Coast Guard Festival events. The maximum charge to “Park & Ride” is $5.00 per vehicle with a portion of the proceeds going to a local non-profit organization. A designated handicap parking area will be available for special needs guests.

The “Park & Ride” will run on Saturday, August 3, from 9:00 am until after the Fireworks.

Follow the white and blue parking signs along US-31 both northbound and southbound. Further information will be on the Harbor Transit page of the City of Grand Haven website.
