The annual celebration of the Coast Guard is packed with family fun, celebration, carnival rides, arts and crafts, picnics, and entertainment for young and old. A community tradition now for 89 years, we have the privilege of hosting visitors and dignitaries from around the world who come here to enjoy the festivities and the natural beauty of our beach town community.

Festival fans have long planned vacations and family reunions around this week. Every one enjoys sharing these summer days of celebration with friends and family. And because many of the events are free to the public including Saturday night's Fireworks Extravaganza, every one can afford to be a part of the symbol that makes our community great.

Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival is committed to continuing the tradition and maintaining our treasured hallmark even while other communities are looking to cut back. Looking forward and into the years to come, our Board of Trustees has set a plan in place to generate permanent funding through an endowment fund.
